Ari Ghosal is Of Counsel to Lippman, Semsker & Salb, LLC, bolstering the Firm's ability to provide a broad range of services and its ability to serve larger enterprises and larger litigations.
Mr. Ghosal regularly represents contractors, architects and engineers, technology professionals and various other businesses from start-up to mature enterprises, including choice of entity decisions and partnership, limited liability company and corporate formation, contract matters, corporate governance matters, compliance programs and regulatory concerns, succession plannings, audits, sales of businesses, liquidation, and stockholder and employment agreements. He provides advice and guidance with respect to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and serves as general corporate counsel to several companies in the engineering and information technology industry. His work includes advising, counseling and representing clients in all phases of litigation.
Mr. Ghosal handles all types of business disputes, including breach of contract, breach of tort and payment disputes and is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. Mr. Ghosal began his career as an associate at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP in Baltimore, Maryland.
Ari Ghosal received his B.S. in Physiology & Neurobiology from the University of Maryland in 1995. He received a Master's degree, with Honors, in 1998 from American University. Mr. Ghosal received his J.D. from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 2003. While at Catholic University, he served as Staff Editor on the Catholic University Law Review.
Mr. Ghosal is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Ari is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association and the Associated Builders & Contractors. Mr. Ghosal serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Maryland Bar's Attorney Grievance Commission.
